Validating Solution Test Results
- Validate test results, reports, and other test evidence against requirements acceptance criteria
- Determine whether the solution satisfies the requirements
Once a solution is built and tested, this task checks the actual test results, reports, and other evidence against the acceptance criteria defined earlier (in Domain III), to determine whether the solution genuinely satisfies the requirements it was meant to meet — not just whether testing happened, but whether it passed against the right, specific bar.
This is a deliberately evidence-based check, not a trust-based one: a developer or team's own assertion that "it works" isn't the same as validated test evidence showing it meets the documented acceptance criteria, and this task is where that distinction gets enforced.
Study focus: a scenario where a feature is declared complete based on a developer's word alone, with no actual test evidence reviewed against acceptance criteria, is testing a shortcut around this validation task.
