Evaluating the Deployed Solution

  • Use valuation techniques to evaluate the deployed solution
  • Determine how well the solution meets the business case and value proposition

This final task closes the loop all the way back to Domain I: after deployment, the solution gets evaluated using valuation techniques against the original business case and value proposition established at the very start, to determine whether the initiative actually delivered the value it set out to deliver — not just whether it shipped on time.

This is a genuinely different check than Domain III's requirement-level validation or this domain's earlier sign-off — a solution can pass every individual acceptance criterion and still underdeliver on the broader business value it was funded to produce, which is exactly what this evaluation is designed to catch.

Study focus: a scenario where a solution technically meets every documented requirement but the business case's underlying value (cost savings, revenue growth, efficiency gain) never actually materializes is testing this final, business-case-level evaluation — the exam's way of reminding you that requirements are a means to a business end, not the end itself.
